As the Regional Finance Coordinator, I am responsible for overseeing all financial operations for the Church of the Nazarene in the Africa Region, ensuring that funds are allocated properly to key initiatives, and creating financial transparency with our donors and stakeholders.

My Key Responsibilities
Advisor to the RD
Advise the RD on strategic partnerships, operational efficiency, risk and compliance and financial health of the region.
Financial Management
Manage funds according to missions strategy, utilizing global missions systems to capture information with integrity and ensure data security.
Budgeting and Planning
Work with Field Strategy Coordinators and ministry heads to create realistic and sustainable budgets for each program.
Audit and Compliance
Performing internal audits for fields and education institutions to ensure compliance with local authorities and global missions policy.
Financial Reporting
Ensuring regular financial reports are shared with our leadership and partners, showing how funds are being spent and the outcomes of our projects.
Fundraising Strategy
Helping design fundraising strategies to ensure we meet our financial goals and can continue to expand our mission work.

Build Sustainable Funding Models
As our mission grows, we are working on diversifying our funding sources, from approved specials contributions to income-generating projects, ensuring that we can continue our work without financial barriers.
